The 45-minute outside broadcast will be made by Oliver's own Fresh One Productions. AOL, which is currently selling off its European ISP business, has previously featured live music performances, Hollywood film downloads and webcasts of events like Live8, but this is the first exclusive content deal it has made in the UK.
The show will be broadcast at 7pm on October 12, as a free, "appointment-to-view" event.
Viewers will also be able to take part in web chats, download recipes and see footage of young chefs discovered through Oliver's 15 restaurant. A competition will be run on the site giving a family the chance to join Oliver on the show.
